What is your experience of ELT management?
The DELTA handbook says candidates who choose this option should ideally have experience as an academic manager (such as
programme manager, director of studies or assistant director of studies) or in a similar managerial role within a language
teaching organisation.
Advanced Methodology is not a DELTA training course. When you finish it, you'll have the option to join a five-month DELTA
Module 1 exam skills course, which is only open to people who have completed Advanced Methodology.
Step 2 of 4: About you 2 About you Your pronouns she/her he/him they/them Something else
Your full postal address, in Roman script
We only use this for invoices if you're accepted onto the course, because UK invoices must include an address. Include the
street name and number, town, country and postcode if there is one. If your school or another organisation is paying, use
their name and address instead.
Step 3 of 4: Your teaching 3 Your teaching
Tell us why you're applying and, for Module 1 or Module 3, why you feel ready for Cambridge DELTA. There are no right
answers. This helps us understand where you're starting from.
Why would you like to take this course at this point in your career?
Why do you believe this Take Your Time DELTA course would be a good fit for you?
What professional development have you done during the past two years? Have you had any support with this?
What teaching qualifications do you have?
Include all formal qualifications, such as Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, TKT modules or degrees, and when you
completed them. If you have already completed or attempted any part of Cambridge DELTA, say so here. It won't stop you
being accepted.
Describe your teaching experience
A short summary is fine: ages and levels taught, class sizes, online (and which platforms) or face to face, the kind of
school or freelance work, the materials you use, and anything else you think is relevant.
