Step 1 of 4: Your course

1 Your course

Which course are you applying for?

We recommend taking one DELTA module at a time. Here's why.

Which Module 1 groups could you join?

Tick every group that would work for you. If a group is full, we'll add you to its waiting list, though we can't promise a place will come up. All times are UK time and may change in your time zone during the course, so check the time where you live on dates across the whole course.

New groups can open if there's demand. Tell us what would suit you, including your time zone.

Which Module 3: ELT Specialism groups could you join?

Tick every group that would work for you. If a group is full, we'll add you to its waiting list, though we can't promise a place will come up. All times are UK time and may change in your time zone during the course, so check the time where you live on dates across the whole course.

Which Module 3: ELT Management groups could you join?

Tick every group that would work for you. If a group is full, we'll add you to its waiting list, though we can't promise a place will come up. All times are UK time and may change in your time zone during the course, so check the time where you live on dates across the whole course.

Which Advanced Methodology groups could you join?

Tick every group that would work for you. If a group is full, we'll add you to its waiting list, though we can't promise a place will come up. All times are UK time and may change in your time zone during the course, so check the time where you live on dates across the whole course.

New groups can open if there's demand. Tell us what would suit you, including your time zone.

The DELTA handbook says candidates who choose this option should ideally have experience as an academic manager (such as programme manager, director of studies or assistant director of studies) or in a similar managerial role within a language teaching organisation.

Advanced Methodology is not a DELTA training course. When you finish it, you'll have the option to join a five-month DELTA Module 1 exam skills course, which is only open to people who have completed Advanced Methodology.

Step 2 of 4: About you

2 About you

As you would like it to appear on your course certificate, for example Sandra Millin.

For example, Sandy.

Your pronouns

Course resources are on Google Drive. If the address above isn't a Google account, give one you can use to open them.

For example: Poland, CET/CEST. Because of UK sanctions and guidelines from Cambridge, we are currently unable to accept payments from anybody based in Russia or Belarus.

We only use this for invoices if you're accepted onto the course, because UK invoices must include an address. Include the street name and number, town, country and postcode if there is one. If your school or another organisation is paying, use their name and address instead.

Step 3 of 4: Your teaching

3 Your teaching

Tell us why you're applying and, for Module 1 or Module 3, why you feel ready for Cambridge DELTA. There are no right answers. This helps us understand where you're starting from.

Include all formal qualifications, such as Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, TKT modules or degrees, and when you completed them. If you have already completed or attempted any part of Cambridge DELTA, say so here. It won't stop you being accepted.

A short summary is fine: ages and levels taught, class sizes, online (and which platforms) or face to face, the kind of school or freelance work, the materials you use, and anything else you think is relevant.

Cambridge recommends a CEFR level of high C1 or above for DELTA.

Step 4 of 4: Before you send

4 Before you send

Have you previously done a Take Your Time DELTA course?

Welcome back. You'll get £50 off because you've already completed a course with us, and you don't need an interview this time. If you'd like to talk the module through anyway, you can book a call with Sandy.

Which course did you complete?

The month and year is enough, for example May 2026.

Which payment plan would you prefer?

If you pay in instalments, the £50 discount comes off the final one.

Which payment method would you prefer?

Full details are in section 2.5 of the terms and conditions.

Where did you hear about Take Your Time DELTA?

Tick all that apply.

For example which page, video or post, or who recommended us.

If you're applying for a discount, tell us here.

Sandy reads every application herself. If you haven't heard from us within 5 working days, please check your spam folder.
